Pale greenish-yellow liquor has strength and a captivatingly fresh green tea aroma noting early Spring growth The tea is in the sencha category and rated one of the better exports from the first and second flush. It is comprised of young tender shoots. After plucking the tea is steamed, rolled and pan-fired giving the leaves a sheen.
