There are several varieties and countries of origin for Camomile, but the finest quality comes from Egypt. The nutrients from the Fertile Crescent create perfect growing conditions. Essential oils in the Camomile flowers produce a soothing pleasant aroma and a fruity character.

Camomile is often sipped for relief of health problems ranging from toothache to tension. It is also soothing for headaches and insomnia. Its natural properties promote restfulness, drowsiness and calming the nerves.

Like many teas and herbals, Camomile should be consumed without the addition of milk, but this does not preclude adding honey, lime, lemon or cinnamon.
